How to Use VMDK Recovery Software?

Follow the steps by step process.

STEP 1

The VMware Restore utility has four different recovery modes. Please pick the appropriate mode from it.

STEP 2

Select any partition to obtain information about it, such as the partition type, the start sector, the end sector, and the partition size, and to begin analyzing recoverable data from chosen VMDK files.

STEP 3

Select the appropriate files and folders from the selected VMDK files and import them into the program panel.

STEP 4

Select data from chosen VMDK files and specify a destination location for the data.

STEP 5

The VMware Recovery utility begins the recovery procedure for the VMDK files that have been selected.

STEP 6

After selecting the "OK" option, the recovery process is complete and the data location is opened.
